Prehabilitation involves strength and conditioning exercises for specific isolated muscles that may help to reduce injury risks, before an injury actually occurs. This approach to physical therapy is the classic “ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure”. Prehabilitation is sport-specific and very personalized to functional abilities and goals.
